Experimental:
The works presented in this exhibition were created during my graduate studies in scientific illustration and reflect a period of focused exploration outside my established studio practice. While my work is often recognized for large-scale, colorful, stylized landscape paintings, these pieces are small, highly detailed graphite drawings focused on scientific subjects and close observation. Despite the shift in scale and medium, both bodies of work stem from my continued curiosity about the natural world and an interest in communicating that understanding through art.
Usual medium/subject matter: Acrylic, Landscapes and Nature
Experimental medium/subject matter: Graphite and watercolor, Nature and Science
